Hi everyone, I'm Cass!

I grew up in Texas, in a household with a mom who immigrated to the US at the age of 18, and a dad who was raised in a working class family in a small town in Colorado.

I learned about the power of education. Through education, my mom learned English, and my dad learned electrical engineering, to both unlock technical careers in the U.S., and empower my sister and I to take our careers even further. With the right education, so much is possible. And with today’s tools it's now easier than ever to learn.

So why does it feel like car ownership is still a black box? Like throwing darts at a board while blind-folded? Most people don’t know what goes on under the hood. Two-third of Americans delay car maintenance due to uncertainty around costs and most can’t afford a service same-day that costs over $500.

I want to learn how to manage and negotiate car services. I want us to feel empowered, informed, and ready to take on anything. I want you to be on this journey with me. I want you to share your stories, share what you want to learn, and build solutions with me that help people get fair prices for car services.

I’ll be sharing my personal stories (like how I was quoted $550 to fix a window regulator) and how I got started on this journey.
